I am using Multilingual App Toolkit 4.0 in a Visual Studio 2017 Community C++ project. I've had success with using it to translate string resources for the XAML pages in the project.
Thanks for your feedback. The issue you are seeing is because the Multilingual Editor is no longer associated as the default editor in Visual Studio. To re-associate the editor, you will need to set it as the default app for.XLF file within Visual Studio.
To do this, right click the.XLF file and select open with When the UI is displayed, select the Multilingual Editor, Click the “Set as Default” button. This will enable opening of the XLIF file in the Multilingual Editor. If this doesn't resolve your issue, please report the problem via.
